I’ve said it before, shredding can get tiring and taxing. So, why not bring it to any one of the community shredding events in and around Chicago. You will surely find one throughout the year. No need to hit that shredding every so often. Just keep all your sensitive documents in a box and on shredding day, haul them to your car and into the large shredding trucks.

The Wicker Park & Bucktown Community SHREDDING AND E-RECYCLING DAYS, sponsored by WPB SSA #33, will take place on the second Saturday of every other month, from 10am – 12pm in the parking lot at A.N. Pritzker School. PLEASE NOTE THE NEW LOCATION- THE PARKING LOT IS LOCATED AT 2020 W EVERGREEN.
This year’s dates are March 12th, May 14th, July 9th, September 10th, and November 12th.

Paper Shredding by Shred It

Computer Recycling by PCRR
PC Rebuilders & Recyclers (PCRR) will be on hand to collect unwanted computer equipment. All hard drives are wiped clean by PCRR; full reporting is available upon request. PCRR refurbishes retired computers for schools, non-profits and homes. Systems that cannot be refurbished will be recycled responsibly.
