Yes, you need to pay an entrance fee to visit the Art Institute of Chicago. But, if you are only visiting the family room or the Ryan Learning Center, you will be thrilled to know that you can do so for FREE! Here, you can create art work that you can take home with you or you can leave at the learning center to share with other young artists. This is also a great place for your child to get to know other styles of art and see other young artists at work. On your visit, you might also chance upon visiting artists that may inspire your child.
